Au milieu du XXIème sieècle, graâce au travail des chercheurs, on acquis avec certitude que les sirè?nes, centaures, sphinx et autres cré?atures dites " fantastiques " existaient bel et bien dans des civilisations plus anciennes.
Tous, par décision du Conseil des Confé?dé?rations, fû?rent sujets à restauration.
Pour recré?er des espèces animales anciennes, le Laboratoire reproduit partiellement des peintures de Bosch, des dessins du Bestiaire, et élaborent une encyclopédie médié?vale dans laquelle les artistes ont représenté? les animaux qu'ils ont vus et ceux qu'ils ont dessiné?s selon la description...
En parallè?le, des pré?paratifs sont en cours pour un voyage intergalactique composé? d'hommes, d'animaux et de plantes vers la planè?te Eos, proche de la Terre en termes de conditions de vie. Parmi les volontaires, astronautes, scientifiques et ingé?nieurs, des représentants de diverses confessions religieuses partent en expédition. A? la vue du long chemin à parcourir, il est prévu de recré?er les animaux de telle manière a? ce qu’ils se nourrissent uniquement d’eau et d’air, par photosynthèse, à? l’instar des végé?taux. L’ensemble de l’expédition deviendra ainsi une sorte d’arche de Noé, qui effectuera son voyage dans l’océan infini de l’espace. Si toutefois les voyageurs de l’arche ne parviennent pas à se rendre sur Eos vivants, le systè?me de survie les placera dans un état d’animation suspendue. Alors l’arche spatiale se transformera en Musée d’Histoire Naturelle, et deviendra un message aux civilisations extraterrestres.
Le projet utilise, certes, des images du Moyen Âge, mais il encourage la ré?flexion sur ce qui se passe de nos jours. Il est temps pour l’humanité de prendre la responsabilité? de pré?server la nature unique de la Terre et la pureté? de notre conscience.
In the middle of the 21st century, through the work of researchers, it became known to some that mermaids, centaurs, sphinxes and other «fantastic» creatures truly existed in more ancient civiliza- tions of the Earth. All of them, by decision of the Council of Confe- derations, are subject to restoration.
To recreate ancient animal species, the Laboratory partially repro- duces paintings by Bosch, drawings from the Bestiary - a medie- val encyclopedia in which artists depicted animals they saw and those they drew according to their description...
In parallel, preparations are underway for an intergalactic jour- ney of people, animals and plants to the planet Eos, whose life conditions are close to Earth’s. Among the volunteers, astronauts, scientists and engineers, representatives of various religious denominations go on the expedition.
In view of the long journey ahead, the plan is for the animals to be recreated so that they can feed only on water and air, through photosynthesis, following the example of plants. The entire expe- dition will thus become a kind of Noah’s Ark, which makes its voyage in the boundless ocean of space. If the travelers fail to make it to Eos alive, the life support system will put them into a state of suspended animation. And then the space Ark will turn into the Museum of Natural History, becoming a message to alien civilizations.
The project uses images from the Middle Ages, but it encourages reflection on what is happening today. It is time for us to take res- ponsibility for preserving the unique nature of the Earth and the purity of our consciousness.
